Crown Highlands
For this archive’s imagined geography, a northern upland region collects seasonal rain and feeds rivers downstream. Terraced footpaths connect settlements, orchards, and forest reserves. This landscape provides a setting for stories of water stewardship and regional travel without placing Zamunda inside any real country.
The Royal Basin
An imagined central basin contains the royal precinct and an urban network of markets, gardens, archives, and workshops. The palace illustration is an original design rather than a reconstruction of a filming location. No official capital name is invented and presented as canon.
Western Terraces
Cultivated slopes and lower valleys provide a fictional agricultural hinterland. Small towns serve as collection points for produce and meeting places for traders. The archive imagines a relationship between urban prosperity and the people who sustain food production.
Southern Wetlands
An invented wetland region completes the watershed. In this creative model, seasonal floodplains support habitats and livelihoods, requiring cooperation between settlements upstream and downstream.
Map conventions
The schematic has no latitude, longitude, real national borders, or scale. Its orientation and regions are design choices. The films’ neighboring Nexdoria is not assigned a precise position because the archive does not establish a verified border survey.
