Fiction notice
Zamunda, its royal family, and the government portrayed here are fictional. This independent fan project is inspired by Coming to America (1988) and Coming 2 America (2021). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the filmmakers, studios, distributors, or cast. It provides no consular, legal, immigration, or other government services.
Three kinds of material
Film-based account summarizes characters, relationships, and story events. Interpretation offers an editorial reading of those events. Original worldbuilding adds imagined landscapes, economic ideas, civic traditions, and visual identity. These additions are labeled on their pages and are not represented as film canon.
Primary works & reference links
- Coming to America (1988), directed by John Landis. The first film is the basis for the Queens journey and Akeem and Lisa’s courtship. Paramount film page.
- Coming 2 America (2021), directed by Craig Brewer. The sequel is the basis for the later family and succession narrative. Prime Video film page.
- Secondary cross-checks: first-film reference and sequel reference. Consult the films for the definitive dramatic context.
Scope and uncertainty
This collection is not a transcript. It avoids dialogue quotations, fabricated documentary evidence, invented exact dates, and unsupported economic statistics. Release years identify films rather than functioning as a complete in-story chronology. The account ends with the sequel; no later reign is implied.
Artwork and attribution
The crest, schematic map, and palace illustration were created for this archive. No film stills, actor portraits, studio logos, soundtrack recordings, or copied coat-of-arms artwork are included. References to characters and film titles identify the subject of the commentary; rights in the underlying films and characters remain with their respective owners.

This theme adds no analytics, contact form, newsletter service, or external font requests. WordPress, hosting, and any plugins may handle data separately. The site owner should publish an appropriate privacy policy for their actual configuration. There is no real Zamundan authority to contact through this site.
